Kyle joined the firm as a law clerk in the summer of 2013, and then as an associate in October of 2014 after graduating from Willamette University College of Law and being admitted to the Oregon State Bar.

Since joining the firm, Kyle has developed a significant amount of litigation experience.  He has been fully responsible for cases, participating in depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.  He has served as second chair in a number of significant jury trials.

Kyle grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He is married to his wife, Cassie.  They are participating in the adoption process and look forward to adopting a child.  They enjoy spending time at their home in Salem, Oregon, and are active members of their local church.

Prior to joining Schanz Lawler, P.C., Kyle began his legal career as an extern for the Hon. Rives Kistler at the Oregon Supreme Court.  During law school, Kyle was a teaching assistant for a legal research and writing class, and also participated in both Willamette University’s Law Review and Moot Court.  Recently (2016 – 2017), Kyle was a member on the Oregon State Bar’s Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion.
